Document Description
The Enterprise Zone program seeks to support in general the development of industry and business in a manner only supported by existing City and County regulations and policies by stimulating business growth though the offering of tax incentives. The program does not target any specific type of commercial or industrial development, nor does it target any specific development project. The program does not prevent the need to seek permits, licenses or similar approvals for business activities, nor does it eliminate the need for CEQA compliance as may be required for development within the Enterprise Zone. As development is proposed, each jurisdiction will evaluate impacts and hazards in accordance with local Municipal Codes, General Plan policies, or any other regulations that may serve to regulate development when brought forward.
