The geotechnical site reconnaissance will include temporary disturbance primarily in unvegetated areas for access routes, two (2) bulk soil samples and 16 boreholes, with depth range up to 10' each. Geotechnical information will be used in the design and construction of a proposed 800-acre wetland enhancement project. Measures to avoid impacts include seasonal restrictions on work, avoidance of habitat features, and retaining on-site monitors for biological and cultural resources during all field activities.
