Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS_IMP_23712_R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the California Department of Water Resources. The Project is limited to vegetation enhancement and dust suppression activities on recently exposed playa that are implemented by increasing surface roughness (engineered roughness), installation of sand fences, creating furrows to promote stormwater spreading, establishing and expanding native vegetation, establishing groundwater supplies, and monitoring and assessment of project components. To implement the Project, improvements to access roads will need to be completed in certain areas such as grading and/or gravel placement.
