Document Description
The City of Big Bear Public Works Department proposes to develop a two story office facility, totaling approximately 6,350 sf and a 520 sf material storage area for cinders, parking for 39 staff vehicles and an emergency back-up generator within the existing Public Works Facility Yard. The expansion portion of the project will be located within the northern portion of the existing Public Works Facility Yard and will be approximately one acre in size, including an approximately 5,920 warm storage building and 52 dedicated parking stalls for large equipment storage/parking area. Further, the project will integrate a roof mounted solar photovoltaic system over parking building with associated support system that will sustain a 50 kilowatt (kw) solar photovoltaic system.
