Document Description
Helena Chemical Company filed a Conditional Use Permit Application with the City of Calipatria to construct a 15,000 ton capacity dry fertilizer product, storage and distribution warehouse. The warehouse would be developed at the existing SUPR Terminal facility site located at 600 South Brown Avenue and would be specifically located on the northeast corner of the 20 acre site. The Applicant would be leasing ~10 acres from SUPR Terminal for the proposed building, private roadways and railroad spur which connects to the Union Pacific Railroad tracts immediately west of the project site. Five existing SUPR Terminal employees and 4 additional employees and a manager would operate the Helena Chemical dry fertilizer storage distribution warehouse on a contractual basis.
