The Imperial Solar Energy Center West Project is limited to the construction of a 250 MW photovoltaic solar facility, supporting structures, transmission facilities, water treatment, plant control, roads, a substation, and an Operations & Maintenance building. The project lies within 1,130 acres of privately owned fallow agricultural fields and includes a 5-mile transmission line across land owned by the Bureau of Land Management.
