Document Description
The project will include the construction of a new 700sf water treatment building with appurtenances on two adjacent parcels totaling sf in size owned by the District. The building will house a prefabricated treatment unit which is manufactured off-site. The building itself will be constructed in a similar style to the existing District office with a slab-on-grade foundation, a concrete or masonry stem wall, wood frame construction with horizontal lap siding, and a gable, seam metal roof. The building will have a roll-up door, a man-door, and exterior lights mounted on the building at the entryway. Additionally, there will be paved parking area and driveway that will replace the existing dirt parking area and driveway, plus a loading space in front of the roll-up door. The project is estimated to have a 20-year useful life.
