Document Description
The Coachella Valley Unified School District currently operates the Desert Mirage High School (DMHS) on ~50 acres of real property, identified as Riverside County APN 751-070-031, and located at 86-150 Avenue 66 in the unincorporated territory of Thermal, CA. DMHS currently serves ~1,850 students in Grades 9 through 12. DMHS currently has 63 classrooms, with capacity for up to 2,200 students. The District is proposing to add to the existing DMHS facility a permanent two story modular classrooms, which will feature 14 new additional classrooms and restroom facilities. These new classrooms will replace existing temporary portable classrooms. As the Project is intended to replace existing temporary portable classrooms, the capacity of the school will not change.
