Document Description
The Applicant proposes 1) the construction of a permanent bridge over Soquel Creek using 89-foot railcar beams, 2) the installation of two temporary bridge crossings over Soquel Creek, and 3) the shaping and placement of rock on the approaches to three low-flow crossings along Hinckley Creek. Hinckley Creek flows into Soquel Creek which empties into the Pacific Ocean. The THP area is located approximately 4 miles north of the town of Soquel in Township 10 South, Range 1 West, Sections 13, 14 and 24 of the Laurel 7.5 Minute USGS Quadrangle; Mt. Diablo Meridian. The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement 1600-2009-0312-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, David Van Lennep/Redwood Empire Sawmills.
