The Project consists of a Tier 2 Planning Study to determine the appropriate location and design, if any, of potential improvements to the public water system operated by the Garberville Sanitary District. The Planning Study does not commit finds for future agency action for the construction if system improvements. The Study is also Categorically Exempt pursuant to Class 6 as the project consists of basic data collection, research, experimental management, and resource evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource. These may be strictly for information gathering purposes, or as part of a study leading to an action which a public agency has not yet approved, adopted, or funded.
