Document Description
Repair a section of Northgate Road in Mount Diablo State Park that has partially failed due to water from 09/10 winter and spring rain runoff that undermined the road and caused it to slump. Repair work will include installation of a French drain and shotcrete in the inboard road ditch to help direct water off the road and away from the slide area; and excavating an approximately 1,800 sf area about 8 feet deep where the slide has affected the road and shoulder, importing and compacting clean fill to rebuild the road and shoulder, the re-paving the new road section and re-graveling the shoulder.
