Document Description
The project is the retrofitting of an existing school site with water quality treatment and erosion control facilities as required on all developed sites within the Lake Tahoe basin. The school was constructed in 1964 before current water quality Best Management Practices (BMPs) were required. The proposed project will restore and improve existing drainage facilities (conveyances, infiltration and detention areas) and provide necessary new facilities to meet the erosion control and water quality protection requirements of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) and CA Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board.
