This project is comprised of a comprehensive program that integrates four (4) appliance efficiency development projects. The linked projects have the potential to reduce system costs while significantly increasing the installed efficiency of commercial foodservice and water heating equipment. The program includes strong links to the California commercial foodservice market through the project team members, five manufacturesr, and two California utilities. The research team includes acknowledged experts in appliance design, new product introduction, field testing, laboratory testing and developing and disseminating energy efficiency information.
