Document Description
This project involves the Department of Toxic Substances Control's (DTSC's) approval of a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) which will be carried out at the Site. The Site would consist of one school building. The proposed school facility would include classrooms, science lab, library, multi-purpose and performing arts rooms, physical education facility, food service and lunch shelter, central administration, an indoor swimming pool, and surface parking. The purpose of the project is to mitigate methane impacted soils by preventing accumulation of methane beneath the strucures or infiltration of mehtane, and hydrogen sulfide into strucutres and enclosed spaces.
