Document Description
The proposed project is the stabilization of Steep Trail within Red Rock Canyon State Park by controlling the water volume and velocity within the trail tread. A series of erosion-control measures, including check dams, swales and weed - free erosion control blankets will be keyed-in at intervals of 6 to 8 feet and will be outsloped to pull the water off the eroding trail tread. Vertical mulching will be used to reduce visual impacts to the project area.
