Document Description
The proposed activities include the repair and stabilization of an eroded gully that originates at a culvert on Benedict Avenue and extends downstream for ~535 linear ft. The proposed project will allow surface flows, up to the 10 yr storm event, to flow within a new channel for ~220 linear ft. Flow within the new channel will be regulated by 4 gabion check dams. Storm flows in excess of the 10 yr event will be directed into an underground drainage pipe that will extend from the inlet culvert downstream ~500 linear ft and daylight at a new rock-lined energy dissipater. Other project features include new hillside concrete-lined swales/V-ditches to collect surface runoff and direct flows to a series of drainage pipe inlets.
