Document Description
The proposed project is located south of Downtown District and is called the Novato Boulevard Improvements. The project envisioned by City staff includes widening of Novato boulevard between Diablo Avenue and Grant Avenue to provide for four travel lanes, two in each direction, a raised median island, and continuous bike lanes, curbs, gutters and sidewalks. Other provisions for left-turn lanes at signalized intersections or left-turn pockets at median breaks would be made. For bicycling and walking, continuous bike lanes and sidewalks are proposed on both sides of Novato Boulevard through the Project Corridor.
