Document Description
NOTE: Review Per Lead The applicants propose to establish a pumic and cinder, open-pit, surface mining operation encompassing 28.3 acres. Operations include the extraction, crushing, stockpiling, and commercial export of ~900,000 cy of material over a 20 yr period. The maximum depth of mining is 60 ft with an average depth of ~15.7 ft. The proposed mining area has previously been disturbed from past mining operations. No additional areas would be disturbed as a result of this project.
