Document Description
The project proposes to widen the shoulders of the roadway to provide four to six feet of paved shoulder adjacent to each travel lane, in order o improve safety for bicyclists, pedestrians, and motorists. In addition, the project will include drainage improvements, new traffic islands, sidewalk, curb ramps, and crosswalk striping. The work will be performed in conjunction with a road rehabilitation and overlay project within the same area. Total distance of the road improvements project is 2,300 feet (0.44 mile).
