The City of Los Banos has updated its Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map to carry out the goals, policies and objectives stated in the 2030 General Plan, the 2009-2014 Housing Element, the Rail Trail Corridor Regulating Code and the Community Design Standards.
The City's Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map were originally adopted in 1964. While the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map have been amended numerous times in the past 46 years, the basic format and language of the document has remained unchanged and the Map updates were fragmented.
