Document Description
The California Water Service Company proposes to drill and construct a new drinking water supply well and appurtenant facilities. The Proposed well 22-01 will be a new drinking water source intake addition and will be drilled to a total depth of 700 ft (approx.) and screened in the lower aquifer. A sanitary seal will be installed to 400 ft (approx.), which will effectively isolate the shallow aquiger and prevent cross-contamination of potential contaminants due to activity. The new well is anticipated to yield up to 1,000 gallons per minute.
