The project consists of exchanging seven federal land parcels currently owned by U.S. Forest Service with seven parcels owned by EID. All current federal parcels are located within El Dorado County and the Eldorado National Forest. The current non-federal EID parcels are located within El Dorado, Amador, and Alpine Counties above 7000 feet in elevation along the Highway 88 corridor.
