Document Description
The Tinsley Island Bank Stabilization Project proposes to stabilize a portion of severely eroded bank on the north portion of Tinsley Island, located adjacent to the Stockton Deep Water Channel. The total size of the stabilized bank will be approximately 215 linear feet by 25 feet wide (0.12 acre).

The project meets the Categorical Exemption criteria under Title 14, Chapter 3, Article 19, Section 15333 of the California Code of Regulations, which exempts projects not to exceed five acres in size to assure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of habitat for fish, plants, or wildlife, which included stream or river bank stabilization with the primary purpose of which is to reduce or eliminate erosion and sedimentation are exempt from CEQA.
