Document Description
The Project consists of installing a new 15-inch diameter PVC pipe to transport water from the north side to the south side of Berenda Slough when the slough is dry and no water is present. A trench will be excavated across the slough to 360 feet in length, 3 feet in depth, and 2 feet wide. The trench will be backfilled and compacted with excavated, native material to a minimum of 24-inches over the pipe. Within the flow line of the slough, the trench will be filled with a minimum of 24-inches of concrete over the pipe. Only native grasses will be impacted. No other riparian vegetation will be removed or damaged.
