Document Description
The project will consist of restoration, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of existing facilities and landscapes at the old Elk Bayou Park. The park has been under the control of Tulare County for many years, but it is being conveyed in the City of Tulare for use as a City park. The City's goal is to preserve and enhance the natural character of the Elk Bayou all by: -building a decomposed granite walking and biking trail through the park. -planting Valley Oak trees -Replacing the existing deteriorated restroom -installing water-conserving irrigation -installing solar park lighting -installing metal picnic ahellors.
