Document Description
Replace sixty three wooden pier pilings with steel pilings and girders at the Day Use Area in Sugar Pine Point State Park to maintain the pier for visitor use. Cut off wooden pilings close to the lake bottom and install steel pilings about 1 foot in diameter in approximately the same locations. Install two new steel pilings alongside the gas shed for added support. Replace wooden girders between pilings with 6 inch wide flange steel beams girders; attach steel bolt plates to secure existing stringers and weld to pilings. Steel will be pre-painted bronze tone with alkyd paint.
