Remove four non-native trees located adjacent to the Stevenson House adobe (California State Landmark No. 352) at Monterey State Historic Park to maintain the historic adobe. Cut trees to ground level and grind stumps in place to a depth of 6-8".

Project consists of maintenance and minor alteration of existing public strucutres and maintenance and preservation of historic resources in a manner consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring, and Reconstructing Historic Buildings (1995), Weeks and Grimmer; included as "resource management projects" on the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR section 15300.4.
