Document Description
The project involves improving 37 exisitng bus stops in various locations of the City of Elk Grove to allow for the installation of bus shelters and associated improvements to meet ADA standards. Typical improvements include construction of a concrete pad within existing landscape corridors and removal and replacement of existing sidewalk, curb and gutter to meet ADA slope and access requriements. For some project locations, acquisition of temporary construction and/or permanent easements will be required from the Cosumnes Community Services District (CCSD) and other private property owners.
