CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA # 1600-2011-0203-R6) pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Southern California Edison, represented by Mr. Eric Chlang, 505 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, State of California, 94106, Phone (415) 703-1956. The Applicant is proposing to construct and operation of the new customer-dedicated, 115/33kV Leatherneck Substation, located within the USMC Combat Center. The Leatherneck Substation will be connected and looped to both existing Hi Desert Substation and Carodean Substation. The Hi Desert-Leatherneck Subtransmission Line will consist partly of a new line and partly reconfigured existing line. The project will impact 3.33 acres of desert wash habitat.
