Document Description
FYI FINAL The proposed Action is to construct a new electrical substation (Leatherneck Substation) on the northwest portion of Mainside at the Combat center. The existing SCE 33kV distribution lines that connect the SCD Hi Desert Substation to the Ocotillo Switching Station located on the Combat Center would be overbuilt with a 115kV subtransmission line equipped with telecommunication capabilities. In addition, fiber optic lines would be installed on existing electrical poles between the Devers and Carodean Substations to connect the new Leatherneck Substation to SCE's existing telecommunications system.
