The GDPUD is proposing to choose one of two treatment alternatives, either of which would meet CDPH treatment requirements. Alternative One proposes a Direct Filtration process. Alternative Two proposes a Contact Clarification process. In addition to the process alternatives, GDPUD proposes additional correction of operational deficiencies which would be common to both process alternatives.
