The Calaveras County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan establishes policies by which the Calaveras County Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) operates and conducts compatibility reviews of proposed land use and airport development actions. It also specifies the compatibility criteria and policies applicable to new noise-and risk-sensitive land uses proposed within the Calaveras County Airport and the land uses surrounding it to the extent that these areas have not already been devoted to incompatible uses. The project is regulatory in nature. No physical construction or land use changes would directly result from the adoption of the Compatibility Plan or from subsequent implementation of the land use policies it contains.
