Document Description
NOTE: Review Per Lead In partnership with the City's Redevelopment Agency, Mid Peninsula Housing Coalition is proposing a mixed-use affordable housing project on a 2 acre parcel at 636 El Camino Real. The proposed project consists of 107 residential units situated in 2 buildings with ~5,000 sf of commercial/retail space on the ground floor, fronting El Camino Real. The development would serve as a catalyst for economic revitalization along this stretch of El Camino, transforming a blighted mobile home park into a well-designed mixed-use development with an attractive street frontage and a more appropriate density for the major thoroughfare of El Camino. The housing will be 100% affordable to families earning between 30% and 50% of area median income for San Mateo County.
