Document Description
The proposed project is to implement road improvements called for in the adopted Transportation System Capital Improvement Program. The project encompasses Eureka Road from the I-80 interchange on the west to 800 feet east of the North Sunrise Avenue intersection on the east, and Taylor Road from approximately 400 feet south to 300 feet north of the Eureka Road intersection. To accommodate projected movements from westbound Eureka Road to northbound Taylor Road, the right-turn lane from westbound Eureka Road to Taylor Road would be extended to begin just west of the westernmost driveway into the Olympus Pointe complex. The widening would include the entire Miners Ravine bridge limits. Additionally, the existing westbound Eureka Road free right turn would be converted to a signalized right turn and the existing Taylor Road northbound acceleration lane (from Eureka Road) would be converted to a receiving lane from the I-80 eastbound off-ramp.
