City of Fort Bragg General Plan "Clean-Up" Amendments
Document Type
NEG - Negative Declaration

Document Description
NOTE: Reference SCH #2004092129 The City of Fort Bragg is processing a series of minor amendments to the General Plan and the Land Use and Development Code which were adopted by the City Council in 2002 and 2004 respectively. The General Plan establishes policy direction to guide development and conservation efforts in the City over the next decade. Over the past 5 yrs of General Plan and Land Use and Development Code implementation and during the recently completed Local Coastal Plan update process, several opportunities were identified to "clean up" General Plan policies. In addition, the City of Fort Bragg adopted a Coastal General Plan and a Coastal Land Use and Development Code that was certified by the Coastal Commission in 2008, and this has necessitated the removal of language relating to the coastal areas of the City from the new "inland" General Plan and LUDC.
