NOTE: Recirculated / Review Per Lead To continue operating a surface mining operation (sand) and concurrently add a pit mining operation (sand/clay). The operation will rotate across the 473 acre portion of the island for a period of 25 yrs. Animal grazing is proposed on the portions of the project area not undergoing mining. The proposed reclamation plan includes returning the island back to agriculture.
