Document Description
The Yuba County Public Works Department is requesting County review and approval of an Environmental Assessment plan for roadway rehabilitation work along a 6.5 mile section of Smartville Road that would utilize the cold-foam in-place asphalt concrete pavement recycling technique to resurface the roadway, the installation of turn lanes at Smartville Road's intersection with Walsh Lane and with its intersection with Daughtery Road, shoulder widening, the replacement of existing drainage culverts, and flattering out existing curves. The installation of tunr lanes at these intersections and the shoulder additions and flattening of curves are intended to increase road safety. All roadwork and staging of equipment would take place within the existing road right of way, and the resulting road would increase to an average of 30 ft in width.
