Document Description
ROEM Development Corporation proposes to redevelop the site with a residential housing complex that includes up to 51 residential units over a subsurface parking garage. Fifty of the units would be affordable to lower income families earning up to 50 to 60 percent of the Area Median Income. One unit would be designated for an on-site building manager. The residential complex would consist of a three to four story "C" shaped building sited around an internal courtyard. Between 8,800 and 10,000 sf of active and passive open space would be provided for use by project residents. The subterranean garage would be accessed by a private two-way ramp at West Evelyn Avenue. At least 92 parking spaces (1.8 spaces per unit), including as many as 14 tandem and 4 ADA-accessible garage spaces would be provided. Up to 5 at-grade spaces would be provided at the south end of the site. The project would remove 2 of the 13 existing street trees located on the site.
