Document Description
The MRF expansion consists of two district phases: Phase 1) A long-term increase in the total tonnage per day from a previously undefined amount to 400 tons per day, including 325 tons per day of source separated materials (community drop off included) and up to 75 tons of construction and demolition debris (C&D). An approximately 27,000 sf awning is also proposed as appurtenant development. Existing facilities authorized by previous permits will continue to be used for the approved purposes; Phase 2) An interim processing capacity of up to 900 tons per day whereby the applicant would accept and process materials from a nearby MRF undergoing permitting at 3417 Standish Ave, Santa Rosa. The interim phase would be approved for a period of one year, subject to annual extensions thereafter, not to exceed the time necessary to permit the MRF at 3417 Standish Ave.
