NOTE: Refer to NOP received 4/23/2010. The St. Helena General Plan is the primary policy document for the City and the community of St. Helena as it moves toward the year 2030. It sets forth the City's policies to guide future land use decisions, and provide the needed framework to preserve the character and quality of development that the community desires. The General Plan also identifies policies and establishes the processes by which the City's changes to existing land uses will take place. The project is a focused update of St. Helena's General Plan, which was las updated in 1993. This update focuses on the incorporate recent planning trends and policies regarding climate protection and sustainability.
