Document Description
The extension of a new 18-inch diameter sewer interceptor line to connect industrially designated and zoned properties located south of Lerdo Hwy, west of SR 99 and commercially zoned property located south of Lerdo Hwy and east of SR 99 to the Shafter/North of the River Sanitary District's (NORSD) Regional Wastewater Treatment facility which is co-owned by the City of Shafter and the North of the River Sanitary District. The project also includes the installation of an approximate 100,000 gallon water storage tank and booster station, and domestic water discharge pipeline on the north side of Lerdo Hwy, east of SR 99. The alignment of the proposed sewer line and lift station will be located within existing public right-of-way. Public utility easement(s) (approximately 30 feet in width) will be obtained for the project alignment.
