The Agency is proposing the 2010 Amendment for the purpose of modifying certain existing fiscal and time limitations; specifically, the Plan limits affecting bonded indebtedness and collection of tax increments. The 2010 Amendment will enhance the Agency's long-term ability to implement its redevelopment goals and objectives in the Project Area, which are intended to remedy blight, promote economic development and infrastructure improvements, and provide additional affordable housing opportunities for eligible families and persons.
