Document Description
The proposed project is a Specific Plan EIR for the Los Alamitos Medical Center campus which includes a three-phase master planned expansion to be constructed over a period of approximately 25 years. The Specific Plan will include the provision of an additional 164 hospital beds, two new hospital buildings, one new medical office building to be used for additional outpatient and associated medical uses, and an additional 849 parking spaces than what currently exists on the 18.3 gross-acre Medical Center campus. Once complete, the Medical Center campus will include 582,824 square feet of hospital and hospital-related uses, medical office space, support facilities, and parking.
