Document Description
Construction and operation of a rapid bus service from the otay Mesa Port of Entry to Downtown San Diego via eastern Chula Vista, a distance of about 21 miles. The project would construct an intermodal transportation center at the Otay mesa Port of Entry, a transit station at the Otay Ranch Town Center, and transit stations within 3 eastern Chula Vista communities: Santa Venetia, Lomas Verdes, and Heritage. The project would construct a dedicated guide way along portions of the route that would be used exclusively for bus operations. Other portions of the route would operate in mixed traffic on existing roadways and highways.
