The proposed project is replacing the current one story 8,839 sf firehouse with a 12,318 sf two story firehouse on the existing 12,534 sf site. The project will contain living quarters, apparatus bay, technical support areas, and other necessary facilities. The project is located within the City of Hollister Downtown Mixed Use zoning district. Seventy percent of the lot is covered by firehouse structure itself. The remainder of site is a parking lot. The property is bound Briggs Alley to the north, Sally Street to the east, and Fifth Street to the south. There is also a commercial building bordering the west of the site.
