Artesian General Plan Update

NOTE: Review per lead. The City of Artesia is updating its 1993 General Plan. The City is 99 percent built out. With the General Plan Update, the City is revising land use designations and adding new mixed use designations. The City's development potential at buildout of the proposed General Plan involves a total of approximately 483 acres of residential land uses and approximately 274 acres of non-residential land uses. Additionally, a total of approximately 26 acres of open space and approximately 254 acres of right-of-way would be provided.
