Document Description
The LVPER is a small/low impact hydroelectric power plant (approximately one megawatt of capacity) on CCWD's Los Vaqueros pipeline near the connection with Reclamation's Contra Costa Canal. The hydroelectric project would capture the currently unused energy potential associated with the existing free-flowing water through the buried 96-inch diameter eight-mile portion of the Los Vasqueros pipeline.
