Document Description
This project consists of repairing two sinkholes and preventing future storm damage at the beach access stairway at San Elijo State Beach, A new concrete apron with curbing and drain box will be constructed to capture storm water to prevent sinkholes and stop erosion around and underneath the stairway. The existing pathway to stairway will be saw cut and removed and the soil/sand will be excavated about 6' down to expose a high density storm drain pipe, a drain inlet box will be installed and connected to the storm drain, the soil replenished and re-compacted and a concrete curb and apron will be constructed.
