Project consists of the repair or minor alteration of existing public facilities involving negligible expansion of use beyond current levels; construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; and minor public alterations in the condition of land and vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry purposes; maintenance, and repair of historical resources, in a manner consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring, and Reconstructing Historic Buildings (1995) Weeks and Grimmer, included as "modifications of existing facilities for handicap access," "construction and installation of park facilities such as interpretive signing or panels" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR 15300.4.
