Document Description
The project consists of the construction of a dog park by the Sonora Sunrise Rotary Club on County of Tuolumne property. The park will include separate fenced sections for small and large dogs, community garden, small playground for children, and several picnic tables. Additionally, perpendicular parking spaces and a sidewalk would be constructed along the Convey Circle frontage. The hours of operation of the park would be dawn to dusk. No nighttime use is proposed, therefore, no lighting of the park is proposed. The Sonora Sunrise Rotary Club will maintain the park and animal waste recepticles shall be emptied at such a frequency to prevent odors from leaving the project site. The project site is 1+- acre in area and zoned R-1:MX (Sinlge Family Residential:Mobilehome Exclusion Combining) under Title 17 of the Tuolumne County Ordinance.
